An American statesman, political philosopher, and one of the Founding Fathers. Leader of the American Revolution and the second cousin of John Adams. He graduated from Harvard and was an unsuccessful businessman and tax collector before going into politics. He was against the British Parliament's taxing on the American colonies. Attended the Continental Congress, helped the issuing of the Declaration of Independence, help draft the Articles of Confederation, and the Massachusetts Declaration. After the American Revolution he served in the senate and was eventually elected as the Massachusetts governor.
